Everybody knows stories like Cinderella, the Three Little
Pigs and many other great classical kids stories. The one
I am going to talk about is the story of a race between
a tortoise and a hare. Guess who's the hare?
Warner has made a very good remake of the well known story.
In fact, there is two remakes that I know and they are both
from Warner. Let me talk about this one "Tortoise beats
Hare".
One of the funny things is Bugs saying the Wolf's lines
in the Three Little Pigs story ( Let me in ,Let
me in or I'll huff and I'll puff and I'll blow your house...
). You know Bugs Bunny, always doing jokes!
The whole story is basically the same of the original one.
BUT... while our hare is one his way to win the race, Cecil
Turtle (our Tortoise!) tricks Bugs from the very beginning.
Did I tell you that Bugs and Cecil have 10$ on this race?
Well, just like the original story, it's not the hare who
wins the race... and the 10 bucks.
How a Turtoise can win a race? In this version, remember
I told you that there are at least two versions, Cecil Turtle
calls friends and family to take It's place at special points
on the road. Of course, a Tortoise is a Tortoise and they
all look the same.
Our hare did not see anything and only realize at the very
end that he has been triked.
This episode of the Looney Tunes and the other version
of the race by Warner are among my favourite cartoons.
