Article : Ralph Wolf or Wile Coyote?

Ralph Wolf or Wile E. Coyote?

Ralph getting problems with Sam the dog.

I'm sure you well know the famous Wile E. Coyote. This predator is also known as Carnivorous Vulgaris, Road-Runnerus Digestus or Eatibus Anythingus. However, the pictures above are not pictures of a coyote, they're pictures of a wolf. Yes, it seems that coyotes and wolves look the same for Warner Bros. :)

The "Steal Wool" episode relates the daily job of Sam, the dog that takes care of sheeps, and the job of Ralph, the one trying to catch one sheep. Enssentially, Sam and Ralph are neighbours. Starting their days together, walking to the "shop", where the grass is green and the sheeps are ... numerous.

During a usual Coyote and Rod Runner episode, Wile gets into trouble trying to cath the fastest bird around. The "Steal Wool" episode involves Sam instead of the Road Runner and Ralph "Wile" as the big bad wolf. Of course Ralph doesn't attempt to catch the dog for a meal but he really wants the dog "Sam" to go away, to disappear... if you know what I mean.

This is a cool Looney Tunes episode with the funny "Is it Wile Coyote or Ralph Wolf?" question. You can find this episode on the ( Looney Tunes : Golden Collection, Volume Three ).
